The cynical among us would have us believe that the “White” people conquered the world and screwed over humanity, and that it is now the turn of the “Brown” and “Black” peoples to rise up and overthrow the “White” people while the “Yellow” people assume control. This notion is puerile, if not absurd. Unfortunately, this kind of simplistic, impressively stupid understanding of historical process is easy to sell in a world in which entire populations are in search of meaning, and the media who informs them is itself clueless and controlled by those seeking to secure their private fortunes in the face of a crumbling monetary system.
We Americans are a special blend of religious refugees, adventurous, free-spirited frontiersmen, and economic opportunists who developed vast tracks of forest land with the sweat of our own and slave labor. This said, the religion that we once sought to preserve, and that helped unify us in our defiance of the British empire, has been greatly diminished in recent decades. Further, those who once inspired and challenged us to become the free spirits of adventure that we still cherish today have been crushed by relentless technological advancement. If this were not bad enough, our spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship has been corrupted by soft money and a system of corporate and social welfare entitlements that can only finish in economic disaster unless we correct our present course.
Lincoln’s War of Consolidation was a humbling experience for the American free spirit from which we never recovered. Today, rather than celebrating the free spirit of our past, we celebrate the liberation of those whom we once mistakenly enslaved, the destruction of the family hearth, and digital porn and prostitution. A full half of all “Americans” are in debt and receive some form of governmental assistance! And, fentanyl has become omnipresent in our streets. We have traded economic independence for sexual promiscuity and drug addiction. This is not freedom; it is stupidity and ignorance.
Yes, orgasm is simultaneously earthly and subliminal and should be celebrated as such, but it is also ephemeral, and unless procreative, but a moment come and gone. It is a momentary escape and reset from an otherwise harsh reality in the absence of a meaningful existence for the many and a source of earthly fulfillment for the ever diminishing few.
It is has been stated that 60 million unborn children have been sacrificed at the alter of regenerative desecration since the decision of Roe vs Wade, and recently I noted at the YMCA in downtown Seattle that some 30 percent of all youths will have attempted suicide before they become adults.
More than half of all “American” children suffer from some sort of chronic illness, and the use of anti-depressants is soaring among “American” females. In the city of Seattle one sees more dogs than children, as both women and men, but mostly women, have substituted raising a family with the purchase, maintenance, and mastery of a canine pet. And men, if you can call them such, surrender to other men as slaves in voluntarily entered master-slave relationships. What is worse, they then demand that they be treated as married couples. And, the same people who have promoted the commercialization of the American family are subsidized in Congress by America’s burgeoning mental health industry — a sorry case of the blind leading the blind. No thanks, Patty Murray. You are a disgusting bitch!
Excuse me, “America”, for my foul tongue, but liberation and freedom are not the same. And, voluntary enslavement is not an expression of freedom! A free spirit does not struggle to obtain his freedom; rather, he struggles to maintain and preserve it. A free spirit does not voluntarily submit to another’s care and control; rather, he struggles for his own economic independence and self-determination. Alas, those who struggle for liberation see themselves as enslaved spirits and struggle to overthrow their masters. They are not free-spirits!
The American War of Independence was not a war of liberation; it was a war of self-preservation and determination. We watched as the British Empire encroached upon our freedom and we rebelled. Our call was for liberty not liberation. Unfortunately, since Lincoln’s War of Consolidation we in the North have been sorely duped, while those in the South have struggled for their liberation.
Everyone wants to see himself as a force of good no matter how bad he truly feels. Unfortunately, feeling bad has become the norm in America, and rightly so, because we have abdicated what makes us feel good — our free spirit!
In liberty,
